Native American Horse Gear

Cisco’s Gallery offers a collection of antique Native American horse gear reflecting the important role of the horse in Plains and Plateau life during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The collection includes saddles, saddlebags, headstalls, martingales and other utilitarian and decorative equestrian equipment, including finely beaded examples. Documented tribal attributions include Lakota and other Sioux peoples, Apsáalooke (Crow), Nimiipuu (Nez Perce) and other Plains and Plateau traditions.
