Native American Baskets

Cisco’s Gallery offers an extensive collection of authentic antique Native American baskets representing basketry traditions throughout North America. Dating primarily from the 19th and early 20th centuries, the collection includes gathering, storage, utilitarian and decorative forms made from regionally available plant materials. Examples represent traditions of the Southwest, Great Basin, California, Plateau, Great Plains, Eastern Woodlands, Southeast, Arctic and other cultural regions, with techniques including coiling, twining and plaiting.
