Native American Drums & Rattles
Native American drums and rattles played an important role in tribal ceremonies. Drums were recognized as their own being and symbolized a strong relationship with their creator. They were believed to contain the spirt of the tree and animal from which they were made. With each beat, the drum would call out to these spirits for protection. Cisco’s collection contains both antique and contemporary drums and rattles from many regions and tribes.
