Native American Corn Husk Bags
Traditional corn husk bags were handwoven by Native American women of the Columbia and Snake River Plateau for use in gathering sustenance such as roots and berries. The oldest bags were decorated with dyed corn husk, then linen and later yarn. The most decorative bags were given as dowry pieces and were never used. Cisco’s Collection of corn husk bags features intricately woven bags of varying sizes and designs. Each piece is authentic, handmade, and one-of-a-kind.
