44 star Wyoming statehood flag. Wyoming became a statehood on July 10, 1890. Sunday school American printed flag on glazed muslin. Notched pattern with typewritten inscription "Sunday school rally at Christian Church Cameron Missouri January 6, 1895. God bless our flag! Long may it wave o'er land of the free and home of the brave." This flag was used in a unique way to announce the commencement of Sunday school classes at the same time to pay homage to the stars and stripes. Ex. Richard Pierce. 6" x 9 1/5".
