Wells Fargo Co. wooden strong box dated 1873. Well constructed Wells Fargo treasure box that most likely is a very well made Western movie prop. Dark green outside with battleship gray inside. Impressed letters on top of lid with date and small brass shield to front indicating Wells Fargo usage. Box is well made with corners and hasp reinforced. This is a nice example if you don't want to pay $10-$20,000 for the classic 1855-1880s example. 22" x 14" x 12"
