Butt stock is of figured walnut and features checkered wrist engraved tangs and an engraved steel butt plate. Butt plate has a threaded protrusion for cane attachment. Very well made English cane gun. 45 1/2" including butt stock, with stock detached measures 34 1/4" with 28 1/4 round shotgun barrel with brass bead at muzzle and damascus finish.
This antique cane gun is mechanically functional but should not be fired due to its age and potential risks. Like many from its era, it lacks caliber markings, so any caliber reference is speculative.
