Regarded as a groundbreaking illustrator for The Saturday Evening Post, Robert was a key person working out the possibilities of narrative and humor. He was influenced by Joseph Leyendecker, and featured comic situations with young boys and old men. Robinson's typical work focused on rural men, old "geezer” types. Active in New York--best known for his magazine illustrations. Well framed.
