Swan decoy attributed to J. H. Whitney (1892-1982) . Falmouth, Maine. An impressive overized swan. A show piece to make a statement, plus the carver was very skilful in the shape of the figure-wonerful neck. Oversized 34"L x 24"H. It was said that James Whitney had lots of lumber and was a railroad worker in his younger years and had all the railroad ties he wanted. A neighbor to Jim reached to us and commented. 34"L x 24"H
