St Johns polychrome prehistoric pottery bowl. St Johns Polychrome is a precursor to Four Mile Polychrome, a type of White Mountain Redware found primarily in Central Eastern Arizona. Production was most likely focused along the Mogollan. The design is usually bold and geometric, and sometimes life forms. The pot is burnished red on the exterior with a gray geometric design in black and white. The inside has a geometric design in black and white. Glued with original pieces. As found condition.
