A Squamish/Coast Salish pole that depicts an Eagle over a Human and Bear. This pole dates to the 1950s or 1960s and reflects a period when Squamish carvers were using brightly coloured paints and creating carvings that reflected pan-Indian influences. In particular, the human figure in the center featuring an armband and face paint alludes to pop culture influences from outside of the Pacific Northwest region. 12 1/2"H
