Blued metal finish, case hardened receiver, and plain straight grip walnut stock and forearm. Item features a saddle bar with saddle ring to left side, a single barrel band, two sling swivels to butt and forearm, and a steel buttplate. Markings include "SPENCER REPEATING/RIFLE CO. BOSTON. MASS./PAT'D MARCH 6, 1860." to front of receiver, an "R" stamped to left side of receiver frame, and serial number stamped to rear of receiver. Wood stock also features stylized "ER" marks carved into right side of buttstock. Bore is bright and rifling is good. Action function is great.
