Dimensions

Strongbox is from Kansas; original paint and numbered 3704 multiple times including the inside. Did have original and old receipts inside marked "Railroad Express Agency," and the box was made by Herring Hall, Marvin, Co. The safe was made by Herring-Hall-Marvin Safe Co. This was a consolidation of Hall's Safe and Lock Co. Cincinnati, Marvin Safe Co. New York City and Farrel & Co. and Meyers & Smith, Philadelphia. The groundbreaking ceremonies in 1896. They had nearly 50% of the world's safe and vault production and were contracted to make the strongboxes for Railway Express. There we also several older receipts laying in the bottom of the box.
