Prehistoric Texas Blade. Prehistoric Texas blade found in Taylor County, Texas. Late Paleo/Plains. 10,000 - 7000 BP. Oblique transverse flaking. 5 ½", 6" x 8" Riker frame. Ex. Hank Johnson Collection. Hank Johnson was a geologist, and passionate collector of historical and ancient artifacts. Starting with relics and bottles from ghost towns, he later focused on Anasazi pottery and Pre-Columbian.
