Prehistoric agate basin point. 4 ½"L x 1 1/8"W, light tan high ridge Burlington cert. Dates into the Transitional Paleo to the Early Archaic period, Circa 10,500 - 8000 BP. Comes without specific provenance, but the stone type has been identified as High Ridge Burlington Chert by well-known authenticator Calvin Howard. A stunning example of early man's stone knapping ability. Presented in a Riker style frame and comes with Howard's certificate of authenticity.
