Polish ciupaga used by mountaineers as combination of a mountain axe and a walking stick. Wood is in overall good condition without cracks. Axe head appears to have had a silvered finish at one time, so there is wear and depatination to the finish. Appears there was some gilt depatination around the scalloped banded edge. Overall good condition. 34"L blade etched with brass shield carrying down back of axe with small wringlets. Shaft is file burned. Head 6"
