Nuu-chah-nulth Three Figure Model Pole from Ye Olde Curiosity Shop.This model pole was carved by a Nuu-chah-nulth artist for Ye Olde Curiosity Shop sometime around 1905. This anonymous carver was prolific and had a highly distinctive style that always incorporated a live-edge wood base. This maker’s work can be found in Kate Duncan’s book “1001 Curious Things: Ye Olde Curiosity Shop and Native American Art” (2000) in a photo dating to 1907. 9 1/4"
