This larger model pole was created by a Nuu-chah-nulth or Ditidaht artist on Vancouver Island and sold through the historic Nugget Shop in Juneau, Alaska. The pole features a thunderbird over a wolf and is embellished with elaborately painted designs depicting birds, whales, and human faces. Although the pole is missing the wings of the thunderbird and base, it is excellently carved and displays well. There is a Nugget Shop sticker on the back of the pole that confirms the time of production. 24"H
