North Dakota gained statehood on November 2, 1889, however as South Dakota was also admitted as the 40th State on the same day, this flag became instantly obsolete. This Flag has a rare configuration and pattern. It is in excellent overall condition having never been attached to any holder. 16 ½” x 13 ½”
