Nez Perce parfleche packet. This packet came directly from a Nez Perce. It was in the family for four generations. This packet was used by Hussowyenn (translation Shot in the Head) as he did receive a head wound at the Battle of the Big Hole enroute to Sitting Bull's camp, and Penaweenunmy (Help Others). These packets went to Sitting Bull's camp in 1877 and returned with them in 1882. Came with AF0549.
