Navajo Ribbon (Boulder) Turquoise and sterling silver ring. Exceptional Grade A quality natural, untreated rectangular stone with solid center ribbon (rare) set in classic silver design. Stamped sterling and maker marked.

Ribbon turquoise combines unique geological beauty, cultural heritage, and rarity in a way that few gemstones can match. Ribbon turquoise is a variety of turquoise where thin veins or “ribbons” of vivid blue-green turquoise run through a contrasting host rock.

Each slab is unique, reflecting the specific mine and geological conditions, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. The most celebrated ribbon turquoise comes from Royston and Hachita mines in Nevada, areas with rich turquoise deposits and striking color. These sources are historically significant and now produce limited material, so high-quality ribbon turquoise is rare and highly prized by collectors and jewelers. Size 9, 7.13 grams, 1" stone

PERIOD: Late 20th Century
