Navajo sterling silver and Fox Mine turquoise box. This box has an amazing finish and styling that resembles the Navajo stamp work of the early 1900’s. On the top is a nice size, polished cabochon of Stormy Mountain turquoise, showing a blue-green coloring with black host matrix, bezel set into the silver. The top of the box has a nice, curved finish with heavy stamping and is hinged, revealing a patinated silver inside. The outside of the box has a similar heavy stamped finish to match the extended lid and is finished by four triangular feet. The piece has a heavy construction for its size and is crafted of sterling silver.
