Addison Thomas Millar born in Warren, Ohio in 1860. Addison worked and studid at the Art Students Leauge, later becoming a pupil of William M. Chase at the Shinnecock school. He later travelled throughout Europe and studied across several countries and under a number of artists. His works are now displayed in the Detroit Institute of Arts, Library of Congress, New York Public Library, and Rhode Island School of Design.
