Dimensions

Painted and tacked decorated cap and ball rifle cut to carbine length - 23" with a .45 cal. octagonal barrel, Mid 19th Century. Conversion lock marked "Riddle" with scroll decoration, brass trigger guard, black back plate and one ramrod steel ferrule added near front. Half walnut stock with Native red painted finish and brass tack decorations on each face with wear in "all the right places." Fine old patina. Total length 39". Definitely Native converted and used.
