Brass plate National Cash register Model 95. Made by the National Cash Register Company out of Dayton, Ohio. Gilded brass plate with floral and leaf filigree. Plaque at top reads "George Y. Wood", possibly name of department store where register was used. With removable decorative receipt cover and no missing buttons. Serial umber 866488. Multiple patent dates; first October 27th, 1885 and last September 15th, 1899. Without keys. One of the most attractive and hardest to find.
