Landscape painter specilizing in mountains - work in portland church (22 oil paintings) and in collections of Woodrow Wilson, Theodore Roosevelt and William Jennings Bryan. Brachus was a pupil of Will Parrott in Portland and was exhibiting in Portland by 1888 at the NID and NYC by 1900.
