Maidu cooking basket; unknown weaver. Circa 1900. Most likely Sierra Maidu because of the use of the black bracken fern root for the design elements, which are a variation of the "flying geese" pattern. Coiling of three peeled willow rods. For the sewing, split and peeled maple. 5 1/2" x 10 3/4
