(1920-2001.) Oil on canvas; 29" x 19 1/2". Well known for his traditional work in oils of Southwestern landscapes and Western subjects. In 1975 he retired to Arizona and focused on his paintings. His work appeared in many Arizona galleries, and appeared on the covers of such magazines as True West, Old West, and his illustrations in Western Horseman. His work has been purchased in Arizona by Valley National Bank of Arizona and the United States Postal Service, both of Phoenix, and the Petrified Forest National Park in Chicago, by the Santa Fe Railroad Western Art Collection.
