Barrels golden eye decoy by Irven Lions of Belleville, Ontario. Very rare - the only known rig of this species. Original paint. Lions worked with the Department of Lands and Forests as a game warden in Belleville and Peterborough in the 1920s. He lived in Belleville which might account for the chrystler style body in his decoys. Similar shown on Page 128 of "Ontario Decoys" by Bernie Gates.
