Oil on canvas; 24" x 36". Beginning in 1970 Martin devoted himself full time to his painting while living in a home and studio he built for himself in El Dorado Hills, California. The bulk of his work continues to be California landscapes in the plein air Impressionist style. Martin has exhibited in numerous galleries and shows throughout the West. He has had solo exhibits at two public venues, the Tulare Historical Museum, Tulare, California, in 2004; and Arts Visalia, Visalia, California, in 2005. He is listed in Davenport's Art Reference and Price Guide, and Samuels' Contemporary Western Artists.
