Huntsman carving attributed to Johann Huggler (Switzerland, 1834-1912), freestanding huntsman sculpture with rifle on shoulder and chamois below. Stamped "Albert Schild / Interlaken, made in Switzerland" stamp to underside, referring to the Belle Epoque store in Interlaken, Switzerland, to which various craftsmen including Johann Huggler supplied fine wood carved sculptures and toys in the Brienz arts and crafts style. "Huggler" written in pencil. Circa late 19th century. 32 1/2"H x 11 1/2"W x 8"D
