Hopkins & Allen Favorite No. 1 suicide special .22 caliber revolver. The barrel is marked "Favorite No. 1" along the top strap and W. B. Ellis along the bottom. William B. Ellis is a member of the Firerarms Engravers Guild of America. The cylinder on this revolver does not index accordingly, therefor, the firearm is not mechanically functional. Many times with firearms of this period, internal parts wear down and require original replacement parts to get the firearm operational. This is an antique firearm that was later embellished by W.B. Ellis. Mfg. 1880.
