This military mess chest was used at Fort Sherman. Came from a serious local collector, now deceased. Note faint "Sherman, ID" on the top. Top can be removed for "hidden" storage. We added the seal coat and the glass to make functional. We est. around 1910. "There may not be another". 20" x20" x 25"H. Ships without glass. Glass 28" x 28"
