Dutch Demijohn. Hand-blown bottle; with Naval battle scene. Portrait of Dutch Admiral Martin Tromp, "the bravest and most skillful enemy then known to the English Navy". Made of the period and could have very well been made for Tromp. Rare museum quality of this period, condition and with the battle scene. No cracks, minor paint wear not distracting. Came from a serious doctor's collection in Tennessee over 20 years ago.
