Serial #216936. 38 WCF, 5 1/2" barrel. 1901 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 216936. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .38 Winchester Center Fire with blade front sight and frame notch rear. 1 piece custom ivory grips featuring a soaring eagle over a US shield on right grip panel. Gun is full coverage engraved with scroll on a punchdot background with crosshatching on backstrap, barrel, both sides of frame, and ejector rod with sun bursts on cylinder, top of backstrap, and loading gate. Nickel plated finish with fire blued screws. Engraving and custom finishes applied by well-known Texas Gun Engraver D.W. Harris, and is signed "DW HARRIS" on butt near serial number. Engraving is sharp and virtually all of the added nickel plated finish remaining with the exception of very minor freckling in scattered areas. Grips are strong with no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is dark with visible rifling. FFL required.
