Engraved silver antique Colt Single Action Army revolver with carved grip. Engraved and Silver Plated Antique Black Powder Frame Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Steer Head Carved and Gold Accented Grip. 32 WCF, 5 1/2" round barrel, Serial #20142. The serial number dates to 1875. The revolver features later engraving, and the right grip features a carved longhorn steer with gold tipped horns, gold nose ring, and red inlaid eyes. Good condition with some light pitting or frosted appearance. Professionally embellished and updated with, light aged patina, distinct engraving, fainter original markings, remarked serial numbers, age lines and patina on the grips, and generally fairly minor wear. Mechanically fine.
