Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #77913, .38 Spl. cal., 5.5" replacement barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece grips, replaced blade front sight, and fixed square-notch rear sight. Numbers do not match. Includes a period tooled leather right hand open top holster with a basket weave pattern. Holster came with. Mfg'd 1882.
Revolver is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 70% thinning reblued finish, showing general age and wear, ejector rod housing has gone to gray with light surface erosion, 1" section on the cylinder that shows pin prick pitting, straps have gone to gray. Grips are in fine condition, although slightly undersized and proud on the front strap. Action functions well with four clicks and good timing. Bore is good, with some areas of scattered mild erosion and shallow but defined rifling.
