Antique pair of amber lens sharp shooter glasses. Believed to have been used by Civil War marksmen with the frosted lens exterior cutting down peripheral vision to aid with focus, and the amber color of the lens believed to assist with viewing through haze or fog. Both lenses are amber colored and not magnifying/correcting. 1 3/8" wide with a smooth 3/8" section in the center, and the remainder of the surface frosted. In original blue velvet-lined heart case.
