Not much is known about this particular piece however it appears to be .38 cal, has an antler handle and a beautiful wooden shaft. Functions soundly. Barrel 33", barrel with plug 34", 36 1/2" to top of handle.
This antique cane gun is mechanically functional but should not be fired due to its age and potential risks. Like many from its era, it lacks caliber markings, so any caliber reference is speculative.
