Collection of points, bone beads and shell beads partially strung, and one brass cartridge hull. Sieralle, California. In same family for several generations. All would have been dug up at the campsite. Tube beads are bird wing bones, round beads are both stone and shell. Restrung. The Modoc inhabited the area for over 5000 years, then came the 1849 Gold Rush. Natives were shot for sport. The cartridge could have been one.
