Buffalo Bill collection. Dick Jaffe was a horse and dog trainer with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. He collected these three pieces while working at the show. The moccasins are 19th Century. The beaded pictorial gauntlets are Plateau and exceptional, around turn of the century. The bear claw pendant and beads could be much earlier. Dick gave them to Frank Sacks when he was 85 years old. Frank left his estate to Laura Wilkin who sold to the individual from whom we acquired. Documents included.

Sioux Moccasins with red, blue, green beaded geometrics on white background accented with metallic beads. Fully beaded flaps with tin cones and horsehair. Parfleche soles. Trade cloth edged cuffs and Native tanned hide. 19th Century. 11"

Plateau Pictorial Gauntlets with horse, stars and moon. Fully beaded cuffs with floral on back of hand. Used but well cared for. Turn of the century. 14" x 8" plus 3" fringe

Grizzly Claw Pendant with early trade beads. Need restrung. Includes a few extra beads and claw. 19th Century or earlier. 3"
