Alaskan totem by Larry Rudick (non Native). Signed on back. This totem pole was hand-carved by Larry Rudick, a well-known carver from the Pacific Northwest. Rudick, of Blackfoot Ukrainian heritage, has been carving for over 35 years. He learned his craft from his in-laws. His wife, Ida Williams of the Nitinat Band of Vancouver Island (affiliated with Nootkan language/peoples) also came from a family of master carvers.
