Birch bark cylinder basket by Acho Dene Koe First Nation/Athabascan artist Laura Hauld of Fort Liard, Northwest Territories, Canada. This customary style of lidded basket is constructed from a birch bark body, alder retainer, and willow root lashing. The flower designs on the side and lid are created from dyed porcupine quills. The basket is signed on the bottom. 4"H x 4 1/4"D
