Golden Patina. 12" Powder horn with turned horn tip and turned wood stopper, scrimshawed with various figures, and the name J.P.Denman on the inside, with checkered snake, deer, musket, dog, woman, fish, cross, double heart, half moon, trees and star. There's also a hand with a large ring on the pinky finger. The letters "CA" are in the worn part on the inside of the horn, to signify use by Denman in the Continental Army; old collection tag with provenance.
