Authentic Alaskan polar bear rug. This legally harvested polar bear rug features a green drab backing with single layer red felt edging. The hide is in good condition and is soft and pliable. The hair is thick and full and retains the natural coloring with little to no fading. The front paws contain all original claws. The hide was rugged without the back paws. The eyes, nose and mouth are in good condition. The tag stitched to the rug backing indicates the rug was mounted by J.P. Hawkins & Son, a taxidermist out of Winnipeg, Canada. 88"L x 85"W
