Navajo sterling silver and Wild Horse cuff bracelet. Natural, untreated Wild Horse stone set above a highly detailed bracelet with thunderbird and palmette designs. Stamped and maker marked. Bracelet flexible enough to expand and tighten on wrist.

Wild Horse gets its name from its reddish-brown to chocolate-brown matrix with creamy, ivory, or tan magnesite veins, resembling the coat patterns of pinto horses that roam the American Southwest. The stones are a distinctive variety of magnesite found in Arizona and the surrounding areas. They are mined in the same turquoise country as high end turquoise stones and have become a valued alternative in Southwestern jewelry. 5 1/2" plus 1 1/2" opening, 24.46 grams
