This Cheyenne style "Princess" is a research-accurate 1880s doll sculpture, expressing the beauty and style of the Cheyenne culture. The piece is historically precise in every detail and process of assembly.

There is an example similar to this doll in The Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming. The sculpture is of mixed media: 1880 vintage US government flour sacking, Indian brain-tanned buckskin, buffalo hair, vintage Indian seed beads, deer and buffalo tendon sinew, 1850 cotton thread, buffalo rawhide, red and yellow ochre paint, porcupine quills, tin cones, vintage brass buttons, brass patina. 17"H Base 8" x 12"
