Coast Salish model of Chief Shakes totem pole, circa 1910. This model pole was carved by an as-yet-unidentified Coast Salish artist who worked for the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop in the early 20th century.

It is a model of the famous Chief Shakes Raven Pole of Wrangell, Alaska. It features, from the top: Chief Raven in woven hat on the Box of Daylight, Raven, and a Human figure holding a dagger. The pole is carved in red cedar, painted in yellow, black, green, blue, and red paints, and mounted on square cedar base. 10" including base.
