Umatilla contour beaded hide cradleboard made by Margaret White on the Reservation for her grandson. Margaret's mother was Nez Perce. Original beadwork panel. Bottom has been replaced several times due to use. Thread sewn and beaded using colors of rose, faceted dark blue, apple red and white heart, faceted white, blue and greasy yellow: body of cradle covered with red trade cloth, hide fringe embellishments across top with some brass trade beads and green trade cloth on hood. 39" x 14 1/2".
