Lakota Sioux beaded moccasins. Well preserved pair of men's moccasins beaded extensively across the upper in white, green, red and blue beads. The dark green bands with tapered tips on the toe box may represent cloven bison tracks, which is a classic symbol on moccasins used by Plains tribes. Parfleche soles are worn, but the beadwork is almost entirely preserved and in overall great condition.
